This 4" low-voltage recessed light housing is designed for use in remodel applications. The Non-IC rated universal J-box features 1/2" knockouts, one removable side, and is suitable for 2" x 6" construction. The junction box has a grounding pigtail, an integral housing flange, an integral 12-volt magnetic transformer, and adjustable bars that lock the unit securely to the ceiling. The lamp mounts to assembly on the trim (sold separately) for optimum performance and consistent lamp position. Adjusts to fit ceiling from 1/2" to 1" thick.
